About the Role:

Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, the Plant Manager is a key leader for the North American operations overseeing fast-paced, customer facing manufacturing facility. This customer-facing role emphasizes upholding rigorous safety and quality standards, achieving production goals, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving continuous operational improvements.

Role Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the facility to achieve the budgeted operating profit and working capital targets.
  • Relentlessly lead and pursue continuous improvement activities to ensure customer expectations are met through production efficiency, quality, and cost-effective management of resources.
  • Oversee daily business operations with an emphasis on safety, quality, people, service, and cost.
  • Identify production and process challenges, develop action plans and implement processes to improve business function.
  • Drive personal and team accountability for completing actions on time and delivering results.
  • Provide leadership and support for continuous improvement projects and successfully enable scalability to achieve the goals of meeting optimizing production throughput, meeting quality requirements and achieving cost initiatives.

Role Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical engineering discipline, preferably in chemical engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in Plant Management, or Operations Management with full plant and operations responsibility in an automated batch manufacturing facility.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a team of 40 or more direct and indirect reports.
  • Proven history of leading and overseeing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prior experience within a batch-making or blending process manufacturing environment.
