Take the next step as a Product Design Engineer at Stewart Connector. You'll be part of our engineering team designing new parts and refining existing designs so that we can provide our customers with increased performance, improved efficiency, and - greater value with their designs. Our engineers often work as an extension of our customer's teams, and we engage early in the design process to provide critical input in cutting-edge industries.



Are You Looking To:



  • Design new products with guidance from the engineering team.
  • Modify existing product designs using your technical knowledge to improve design-related performance, quality, or cost issues.
  • Research new technologies, methods, and test procedures to support product improvements and future product roadmaps.
  • Assist in planning project scheduling and report project status to supporting team goals and on-time, on-budget resolution.
  • Assume projects and responsibilities to support overall business needs.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams from Production, Manufacturing, Sales, and Marketing to Quality Assurance.
  • Support external customers, vendors and other functional groups with exceptional communication.


Are You Ready To:



  • Make daily decisions independently or as part of a team related to new product programs and product improvement efforts.
  • Understand relevant technologies and their impacts on products and marketplace.
  • Influence manufacturing operations to support to new and applied technology.
  • Support team efforts with long-range product planning.



Job Requirements:

What You'll Need:



  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior experience in connectors industry.
  • Experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
