Position Summary

As a Precision Assembler you will be responsible for performing assembly work in a station or line to produce medical devices in a FDA regulated and controlled environment.Provides support to department through advanced job knowledge, flexibility to perform various job functions and training others.



Shift: 3:30pm-1:30am Monday - Thursday


What you will do as a

  • Perform assembly-type functions, using various hand tools and bench top pneumatic presses.
  • Handle and evaluate quality of small parts during manufacturing processes.
  • Promote and provide a safe working environment.
  • Inform Team Lead of any problems pertaining to production, parts, equipment or processes.
  • Adhere to Shop Practices including proper gowning and use of personal protective equipment and following standard work.
  • Within LEAN Manufacturing environment, make safety observations and participate in idea generation and 5S activities.
  • Meet quality assurance requirements, to include completing proper paperwork, following good documentation practices and performing process monitoring.
  • Support new hires during the Orientation and training process.
  • Work in multiple production areas within the home department and across Value Streams.
  • May perform the following: operate injection molding machine, apply light cure adhesives, crimping, swaging, weaving, tying and resistance welding, and other duties as needed.
