 Job Summary:
 The purpose of a Sr. Data Analyst is to find meaning in data as a thought leader so that the knowledge derived can be used to make informed decisions and assist the organization in making better business decisions.
 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 25% Engages in data exploration using various programming languages (reading and writing code), requiring advanced knowledge of multiple database structures15% Collect, analyze, and interpret data to glean insights, and develop business appropriate recommendations15% Research and analyze data flow across complex data ecosystem including operational and analytical data platforms15% Serve as an expert resource supporting data questions and issues from stakeholders and driving to resolution10% Lead in the design, development, validation and delivery of data to provide insight into business decisions10% Manage the collection of business and technical requirements from Stakeholders to deliver data driven solutions. Produces technical documentation that is consistent with professional standards10% Be a resource and mentor to junior level staff
 
 Candidate will also support the implementation of a Data Integration/Data Warehouse for the Delivery Team 
 
 
 Data Cleaning - identify erroneous data and determine appropriate resolutionAnalyze and assess the quality and integrity of the data including Reference DataDevelop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data qualityUnderstand the meaning/business context of dataAcquire data from internal or external data sources and maintain mapping documents of the files, databases/data systems.Perform documentation of the STTM & Mapping docPerform data analysis and data modeling to create source to target mappings.Evaluate risk from statistical information to determine risk to operations or non-compliance.Perform gap analysis of data requirements versus current data sources.Work closely with business analysts and source data experts to develop data requirements.Assess current data and assist in the resolution of data anomalies.Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports and feedbackData profiling experience (Preferably using Abinitio DQE)

 Education:
 
 
 
 Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Business, or a related field.
 
  
 Experience:
 
 
 
 5 years' experience in an analytical/quantitative role.
 
  
 Equivalent Experience:
 
 In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
 
 Preferred Qualifications:
 
 
 
 3 years of Experience in Healthcare Industry7 years of Hands on experience with Big Data/NoSQL Platforms with experience delivering production projects at scale.7 years of demonstrated experience as Data Analyst7 years of Strong SQL and data modelling skills like 3rd normal form and dimensional modellingDemonstrated ability to perform complex queries, assess data quality and develop data mappings.7 years of experience in developing Source to Target mapping (STTM) & Gap Analysis based on business requirement.7 years of experience with multiple data warehousing and analytics development projects
