Optum Advisory is seeking a highly skilled Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) consultant to support the transition of personalized, data-driven client journeys and reporting. This role will play a critical part in enhancing member engagement, improving overall campaign performance, and ensuring seamless integrations of Adobe Experience Cloud products into marketing operation ecosystems. Additionally, the consultant will enjoy deploying their skills across a wide range of digital transformation projects as needed.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, build and optimize realtime, omnichannel customer journeys tailored to healthcare audiences (patients, providers, caregivers)
  • Collaborate with marketing, analytics, and IT teams to migrate existing campaigns from legacy platforms into Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO)
  • Provide thought leadership and best practices on AEP architecture, data ingestion, identity resolution, and activation
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure seamless integration and execution of journey builds
  • Update and enhance existing journeys providing expert consultation and recommendations for improvements
  • Utilize AEP Data Distiller to manage and analyze data
  • Understand and interpret AEP schema layouts to ensure data integrity and usability
  • Optimize customer journeys through the creation of templates and streamlined audience segments
  • Ensure campaign accuracy by performing quality control, data cleansing, and user acceptance testing
  • Develop and manage audience segmentation, triggers, and decisioning logic using AEP data
  • Ensure HIPAA-compliant data handling and adherence to healthcare marketing regulations
  • Provide training and documentation to internal teams on AJO best practices and workflows
  • Monitor campaign delivery and performance via Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and work with Adobe support and platform teams to resolve them
  • Developing high-quality written communications, persuasive presentations, and compelling deliverables tailored to client needs
  • Designing analytics and extracting data leveraging technical skills in Python, Excel, and SQL
  • Performing an individual billable role for clients, contributing to the daily delivery of a large-scale and highly complex process
  • Mentoring junior team members and training sessions to build internal capabilities

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in an agency or consulting related analytics role
  • 4+ years of experience consulting in a digital strategy and analytics capacity
  • 2+ years of experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) and/or Customer Journey Analytics (CJA)
  • Experience in designing and executing analyses, including data extraction and analysis using Python, SQL, CJA and PowerBI
  • Proven experience in optimizing customer journeys and audience segmentation
  • The ideal candidate will have a solid background in AEP Data Distiller and a proven ability to analyze and understand AEP schema layouts
  • Solid understanding of customer journey orchestration, personalization,and real-time engagement
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.)
  • Proficiency in audience segmentation, data schemas, and event-based triggers
  • Proven solid analytical skills with the ability to understand complex data structures
  • Proven excellent communication and consultation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years Adobe Experience Cloud (Target, Analytics, Experience Manager)
  • 2+ years healthcare or healthcare-adjacent marketing experience
  • Adobe experience Platform certified expert (Real-Time CDP, CJA, AJO)
  • Background in marketing automation and CRM systems
  • Working knowledge of APIs, data integrations, and tag management

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $89,900 to $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
