 PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Storeroom Manager directs and coordinates all activities associated with receiving and storeroom operations, ensuring adherence to established receiving, stock rotation, requisition, and sanitation and security procedures.
 
 RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
 
 
 Maintains appropriate staffing levels through effective forecasting, recruiting, selection, hiring, and training 
 Schedule personnel to ensure optimum performance of department 
 Supervise materials and supplies as specified on purchase order documents and security of all materials placed in storage 
 Ensures accurate, timely completion of computerized receiving reports and transmittal of receiving documentation 
 Facilitate daily transfers and restock, checking all product received against invoices, and filling all daily requisition on the date requested 
 Maintain organized purchase order and receiving documentation files 
 Ensures proper dating, pricing, and tagging of all food products, materials, and supplies 
 Ensure appropriate refrigeration of perishable items, and proper placement and rotation of stock to prevent loss due to deterioration of product quality while in storage 
 Ensure respective prices are indicated on requisitions for all items issued 
 Forwards completed requisitions to respective storeroom clerk 
 Monitor par levels for items in inventory sand place requisition in backtrack when levels reach reorder point 
 Supervises/performs daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual inventories 
 Coordinates receipt, storage, and delivery of packages delivered via common carrier 
 Ensures appropriate departments are notified when packages are received 
 Maintain daily communication with the storeroom team and storeroom guests to ensure smooth operations, timely updates, and efficiency, prioritizing responsiveness, professionalism, and clear messaging to the overall service experience 
 Maintain a self-driven approach to work by setting personal and team goals, seeking opportunities for improvement, and staying committed to achieving team and individual tasks 
 Demonstrate a high level of self-motivation by taking initiative, staying productive without constant supervision, and maintaining a strong work ethic 
 QUALIFICATIONS:
 
 
 
 One year of experience in working with food or one year of experience in purchasing required 
 Must be 21 years or older 
 Must be able to stand, stoop, and bend repetitively and lift up to 50 lbs.

 $55,000 - 60,000 annually, depending on experience
