About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented R&D Diagnostics & Visualization Intern to support the development of a comprehensive video training library focused on ophthalmology assessments used in clinical research. This internship offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with subject matter experts and contribute to impactful educational content that enhances clinical research training and standardization. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with ophthalmology and clinical research experts to understand key assessment techniques and protocols. Assist in scripting, organizing, and producing video training materials for a specialized ophthalmology training library. Support the development of visual aids, storyboards, and instructional content tailored to clinical research professionals. Help manage content workflows, including version control, feedback integration, and documentation. Participate in team meetings and contribute creative ideas to improve training effectiveness and engagement. Ensure all materials meet quality standards and align with regulatory and educational guidelines. Minimum Qualifications Must be enrolled in an accredited university or college for at least one semester prior to internship or co-op, and at least one additional semester following internship or co-op. Must be pursuing a master's degree in biological science related (e.g., Biology, Biomedical Science). Academic performance: Minimum cumulative GPA 3.0/4.0. Strong interest in clinical research, ophthalmology, or medical education. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience or interest in video production, scripting, or instructional design is a plus. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills. Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship (students on an F1 visa with CPT can be accommodated). Ability to commit to a full-time (40 hrs/week) internship position. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Camtasia). Basic understanding of ophthalmic assessments or clinical trial processes. Experience with e-learning platforms or content management systems.
