Mortgage Processing Supervisor (Hybrid)

The starting salary for this position is $68,900 annually depending on experience and qualification.


Essential Duties:

    • Monitors and evaluates individual and team performance, delivering regular updates to the Sr Director of Mortgage Operations concerning overall process efficiency, productivity, and achievement of objectives.
    • Supports the development and communication of operational goals for the processing team, ensuring alignment with the business objectives of the Mortgage Team.


    • Monitors and evaluates the processing team KPI's in accordance with the overall Mortgage Team goals and objectives.


    • Provides support in recommending and implementing innovative methods, procedures, and operating systems to enhance operational efficiency.
    • Ensures adherence to both state and federal regulations, establishes quality control procedures, and stays current with guidelines for loan products.
    • Oversees the workflow by monitoring loan file progress, assigning tasks based on team capacity, and ensuring timely distribution to the processing team.
    • Collaborates with the Learning and Development team and other departmental managers to support onboarding initiatives for new employee training.
    • Addresses customer concerns and consistently upholds exemplary service standards during all stages of the loan process.
    • Maintains current knowledge of emerging technologies and advancements within the mortgage industry and attends training sessions as required to ensure continued professional development.
    • Fosters a positive work environment and supports professional growth through commitment to the company's purpose, mission and core values.

    Experience
    5 years: *5+ years of mortgage lending experience with experience in processing and credit evaluation. (required)
    *Broad knowledge of and practical experience with credit union or other financial institution operating areas, functions, products and services and the applicable laws and regulations. (preferred)
    *Demonstrated ability to build teamwork across the company. (required)
    *Experience utilizing Mortgage LOS Encompass, MeridianLink and Symitar. (required)
