Description Software Test Lead - Automation (IRS MBI) New Carrollton, MD 20784 Security: Current IRS MBI Access Location: On-Site with potential for remote from Wash DC Metro Area Anakim Consulting Inc. has an opening for a senior level Software Test Lead supporting automation. Qualified candidates must have current IRS MBI security credentials to be considered for this position. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for creating and understanding the project requirements. Create detailed test plans and cases, setting up test environments, and executing manual and automated tests. Log and track defects, perform regression and acceptance tests, and ensure the updated code meets all functional and non-functional requirements. Document their activities, report progress to stakeholders, and continuously improve testing processes to maintain the quality and reliability of the modernized code. Position Requirements Basic Qualifications: U.S. citizenship (no dual citizenship) Current IRS MBI Access Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline 7+ years of related software testing experience Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment Core software testing skills including: Experience leading testing and test planning efforts Excellent oral and written communication skills with client stakeholders at all organizational and technical levels Excellent time management Ability to contribute to a high-performing, motivated workgroup by applying interpersonal and collaboration skills to achieve project goals. Experience with Microsoft products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint) Experience with test script creation and execution management Experience with test automation framework (Selenium, Cypress, etc.) Experience with software development lifecycle Experience with continuous integration/ continuous delivery (CI/CD) Experience with non-functional testing is a plus (Accessibility, Performance, Security, etc.) Excellent oral and written communication skills to interact at all levels Excellent time management Preferred Experience: ICCE and eServices preferred Experience backend testing including APIs and database (SQL knowledge is a plus) Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Position Software Test Lead - Automation Location IRS ECM About the Organization Anakim Consulting is a privately held small company that provides growth opportunities for employees.
