Position Summary
The Associate Director of Planned Giving plays a key role as a specialist in managing all operational aspects of the planned giving program at Boston Children's Hospital. This includes overseeing and facilitating gifts from estates, trusts, retirement plans, and life insurance beneficiary designations. The Associate Director ensures the full, timely, and accurate receipt of all estate gifts being distributed to the hospital and serves as the primary point of contact for executors, trustees, and other fiduciaries managing estate gifts with designated beneficiaries. Working closely with the Assistant Vice President and Senior Director, this position provides recommendations to the Office of General Counsel and Finance on estate-related matters. As the planned giving team grows, the Associate Director will also assume responsibility for managing life income gift administration and stewardship, focusing on operational excellence across all aspects of the program.
