This Social Media Manger will be responsible for leading a well-recognized social account around a next-generation platform that redefines how people connect, create, and explore virtual worlds. The role is all about shaping the voice of a product that sits at the intersection of technology, creativity, and culture. You'll craft strategies that engage and grow a passionate community, working closely with creators, advocates, and fans to spark meaningful conversations and cultural impact.
If you thrive in fast-paced environments and love building communities that influence trends and inspire creativity, this is your chance to make a mark on the future of social connection. *Key Responsibilities* * *Lead Social Strategy for Social Handle on Mobile* * Develop and execute a best-in-class social media strategy across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and emerging channels. * Position social handle as an accessible, free app for everyone, while maintaining cross-platform synergy with VR audiences. * *Platform-Specific Engagement* * Create innovative, mobile-first programs that resonate with a 13-24 audience passionate about immersive experiences. * Drive proactive and reactive engagement that feels authentic and culturally relevant. * *Community Management & Activation* * Build processes for community engagement that foster a vibrant, inclusive, and safe environment. * Moderate and enforce community guidelines to ensure positive interactions. * *Cross-Functional Collaboration* * Partner with marketing, creative, production, and communications teams to deliver strategic content and community plans. * Collaborate with agencies and internal teams to produce high-quality, social-first content. * *Performance Analysis* * Track engagement, growth, and sentiment to optimize strategies and measure cultural impact. * Use insights to refine campaigns and drive continuous improvement. * *Budget Management* * Manage budgets for community campaigns in partnership with production teams. *Minimum Qualifications* * 8+ years managing social channels and/or community engagement for global consumer brands in tech, gaming, entertainment, or culture (mobile gaming experience a plus). * Proven success in scaling social strategies that drive engagement and growth. * Experience leading agencies and inspiring high-quality creative work. * Strong communication skills and ability to simplify complex ideas. * Deep understanding of social trends, creators, and emerging platforms. * Track record of delivering culturally relevant, consumer-centric campaigns. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
