 As a Training Manager, you are responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and facilitating training sessions that focus on the principles, techniques, safety, and procedures related to the telecommunications industry. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you're up for the challenge. In addition, you will: 
 Train and evaluate field crews to ensure regulatory and skills training is completed timely. Including but not limited to: Fiber Blowing Operations, Bucket Truck, Bucket Rescue, Pole Climbing, Pole Top Rescue, Ladder Safety, CPR, NESC, Ground Disturbance, Trenching & Excavation, Confined Spaces, and all skills involving building & troubling shooting plant.Facilitate training sessions to increase employees' knowledge and competence, using visual aids such as videos, PowerPoint, graphs, charts, presentations, etc.Assist in the design and development of the course of study according to curriculum guidelines and job site requirementsTailor courses by developing modifications to meet participant needs and training goalsObserve and evaluate employees' work to determine progress, provide feedback, and make suggestions for improvementAdminister written, oral, or performance tests to measure progress, and to verify the competency of MNS Wireline Employees Deploy, evaluate, and train crews on the job sites to increase safety, quality and production. 
 Prepare reports and maintain records such as student grades, attendance rosters, and training activity detailsMaintain a safe, secure, and healthy educational environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal/company regulations and safety standardsSupport Operations and Safety teams in their efforts around safety, quality, and productivity Travel required to facilitate classes and visit students at various job sites/offices (truck provided)Manage groups of students safely and efficientlyTrain and demonstrate fiber blowing equipment and techniquesExplain and demonstrate the troubleshooting methods Qualifications
 
 
 About You: 
 Safety is a part of your day to dayYou have a track record of completing work with a high level of qualityYou have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your workYou are looking for long term projectsYou enjoy getting your hands dirty with your teamYou have a High School Diploma or GED You have a journeyman level of experience and skill in telecommunications aerial construction You must be competent to perform all tasks and duties of a journeyman in the field of telecommunications construction You have a valid driver's license Yay be asked to obtain CDL Class A driver's license You are an authorized OSHA Outreach Instructor You have a Medic First Aid certification Can lift up to 75 lbs. Maintain extended periods of bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, lifting in awkward positions, standing, twisting, reaching above shoulder level, working in confined spaces, working off a pole or in a bucket. You are highly organized person and can show planning and processes to support daily work You are proficient with Microsoft Office products - Outlook, Excel, Word, etc with an emphasis on PowerPoint. You have positive people skills and pleasant demeanor You are punctual & dependable Can travel within the region is expected. Hard work pays off.
