Join our team as a Manufacturing Coordinator!
The Manufacturing Coordinator I provides manufacturing operations with a schedule that maximizes efficiency, resources, and capacity to achieve On-Time Delivery within an established budget. The Manufacturing Coordinator I is the primary liaison between production, Customer Service and the supply chain.
Shift: Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm

What you will do
  • Review manufacturing queues daily
  • Work with production and maintenance to understand labor and equipment constraints
  • Use processes and tools to identify, schedule, and prioritize large quantity, short lead time, and rework jobs appropriately
  • Use processes and tools to analyze demand and make recommendations for flexing resources and labor
  • Work with Tech Ops group to resolve daily reject issues
  • Participate in cross-functional continuous improvement efforts
  • Identify potential late orders, communicate to Customer Service and work with production and shipping to mitigate
  • Single point of contact for all Customer Service inquiries. Work with production to formulate response and schedule accordingly
  • Work with Customer Service Team to resolve shipping holds or move due dates
  • Identify potential material supply issues and work with Purchasing Team to resolve
  • Monitor status update for material in outsourcing activities (i.e Anodizing)
  • Monitor site consumable material and supply inventory
  • Adhere to all company policies and operational procedures
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned
What it takes
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of Production Coordinator experience
  • Ability to understand and interpret machining blueprints.
  • Ability to learn and use company's MRP and ERP systems (JobBoss).
  • Be flexible and willing to tackle new challenges and have a positive "can-do" attitude.
  • Must be able to solve problems that arise without direct supervision while also performing as part of a team
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize work in an effective manner.
  • Ability to use SolidWorks
  • Basic knowledge of Machining (CNC and/or Manual) as well as basic knowledge of manufacturing.
  • Familiarity and skill with the tools of the trade Microsoft Office suite of products (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Bonus points for
  • Experience with JobBoss ERP or Solidworks
  • Experience in a Sheet Metal manufacturing environment

Physical Demands:
While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to sit; use a computer keyboard, monitor and mouse, telephone and printer; reach with hands, and arms, talk, see and hear. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop or kneel and must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
Work Environment:
Indoors (A/C); nonsmoking; the majority of this job function is performed in a manufacturing area exposed to machinery and noise; with eye protection and safety shoes required. Occasionally works in outside weather conditions. Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
