Position Summary:

As the Enrollment & Outreach Coordinator, you leverage Philadelphia's C2L-PHL model of Career Exploration, Skill Development, and Self-Discovery to empower 14-24-year-olds through seamless enrollment processes, strategic community partnerships, and rigorous data excellence within the Youth Employment Project. Reporting to the YEP Program Manager and Associate Director for Youth Programs, you drive 90% enrollment and 75% retention by securing paid, work-based learning placements, conducting eligibility screenings, and maintaining audit-ready participant records in CWDS, Launchpad, and other funder systems. Reporting to the YEP Program Manager and Associate Director for Youth Programs, you drive 90% enrollment and 75% retention by securing paid, work-based learning placements, conducting eligibility screenings, and maintaining audit-ready participant records in CWDS, Launchpad, and other funder systems. The coordinator oversees all enrollment standardized assessment operations-from scheduling and facilitating pre- and post-tests to training and supporting proctors, troubleshooting technical issues, and enforcing funder guidelines-using assessment insights to inform each youth's skill development and self-discovery. You optimize digital engagement by curating targeted social media and email campaigns and refining the online interest-form funnel to attract and enroll candidates. The coordinator represents YEP at offsite recruitment events, community workshops, information sessions, integrates YEP alumni into recruitment efforts, and forge employer partnerships to broaden career pathways.

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, Education, Business, Computer Science, or related field required.
  • At least two (2) years of related experience working with young adults in a diverse learning environment, utilizing electronic systems.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • The applicant must have hands-on experience with online standardized testing instruments, demonstrate excellent computer, data entry, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with facilitating workshops, developing presentations, and fostering collaborative relationships with community agencies/businesses.
  • Experience scheduling appointments, facilitating, and scoring assessments, and discussing/explaining pretest and posttest scores,
  • Experience entering data into mid-large size data systems required.
  • Excellent technology, data management, data entry, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with managing social media entities (i.e., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Preferred:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with a diverse population of staff, students, community members, and youth.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Internet, data management, file conversion, systems troubleshooting, explaining technology to low-level computer users, and troubleshooting issues with staff and IT professionals.
  • Demonstrated organizational, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
