IAM Project Manager Category: Project & Program Management Employment Type: Contract Reference: BH-390152 We are seeking a seasoned Technical IAM Project Manager to lead and coordinate multiple Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiatives across a large enterprise environment. This role will drive project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and release management for IAM solutions that support security, compliance, and operational efficiency. This is a contract opportunity with a leading organization in the enterprise technology space. The selected candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams including cybersecurity, engineering, infrastructure, and business stakeholders. Job Title: IAM Project Manager Location: San Diego, CA (Hybrid) Pay Rate: $70-85/hour (Depending on experience) Duration/Type: 12+ Months Employment Type: W2 Contract Industry: Financial Services Key Responsibilities: Manage multiple concurrent IAM projects including identity lifecycle automation, access governance, privileged access management (PAM), and authentication enhancements. Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, and delivery aligned with business goals and security standards. Own release management processes including scheduling, coordination, deployment planning, and post-release validation. Facilitate Agile ceremonies and coach teams on Agile principles and continuous improvement. Collaborate with stakeholders to define scope, requirements, and success criteria. Track milestones, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery of IAM solutions. Support change management, training, and documentation efforts. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in IAM or cybersecurity-related initiatives. Strong understanding of IAM principles including SSO, MFA, RBAC, PAM, and identity lifecycle. Experience with IAM platforms such as SailPoint, Forgerock, CyberArk, Azure AD, or similar. Proven experience managing release cycles in enterprise environments. Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies. Preferred Skills: Experience in regulated industries (e.g., financial services, healthcare). Technical background in IAM engineering or architecture. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices related to IAM deployments. Agile certifications (Scrum Master, SAFe, etc.) are a plus Estimated Min Rate: $70.00 Estimated Max Rate: $90.00 What's In It for You?
