The Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC) invites applications for the position of Manager 3, Project Management. This position serves as the lead of the project management subsection of the GRC, overseeing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of health services quality improvement science projects, and functions as an Associate Director of Quality Improvement Science The successful candidate will: (1) Lead and manage multiple complex projects as a Principal Investigator, and/or team or task lead; (2) mentor and supervise multiple staff members, including other managers and project coordinators; (3) coordinate administrative activities for the assigned subsection, such as hiring, onboarding, and project assignments; (4) contribute to new project development, including preparing responses to competitive bid opportunities to expand GRCs portfolio; and (5) assist in leadership activities across GRCs organization. The successful candidate should demonstrate substantial expertise and applied experience in project management and quality improvement science methodology, including proficiency in project planning and stakeholder engagement. The Assistant Director will effectively communicate project priorities to staff; lead efforts to build collaborative relationships among academic and health policy leaders to identify shared priorities and implement quality improvement science projects and policy initiatives to drive the administration of Ohio's health care programs and policies; coordinate the activities of multidisciplinary teams, project managers, subcontractors, and vendors assigned to projects; and establishing training programs, coaching initiatives, and frameworks for integrating QI methodologies into various projects.
