Overview

As a Digital Commerce Product Owner, you will help shape and enhance Waters' digital commerce platforms, including eCommerce and eProcurement experiences powered by SAP Commerce. Working in an Agile environment, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient, personalized, and user-friendly digital buying journeys. Your contributions will support how customers discover, purchase, and manage products and services across Waters.com and integrated procurement channels.

You will be responsible for managing the product backlog, translating business needs into actionable features, and supporting the delivery of enhancements that improve customer experience and business outcomes.

Focus

    Support the ongoing development of Waters' digital commerce capabilities using SAP Commerce.
  • Contribute to the roadmap for eCommerce and eProcurement enhancements aligned with business goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve product discovery, transaction workflows, and procurement integrations.
  • Assist in optimizing platform performance, personalization, and user experience across commerce touchpoints.

This role is a hubrid role based out of Milford, MA 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday)



Responsibilities

  • Understand customer purchasing behavior and procurement workflows to inform product decisions.
  • Analyze performance metrics (e.g., conversion rates, cart abandonment) to identify areas for improvement.
  • Translate business and user needs into clear user stories and product features.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog focused on improving digital transaction efficiency and procurement integration.
  • Work closely with UX designers, developers, and SAP Commerce architects to deliver enhancements.
  • Validate delivered features against acceptance criteria and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Monitor and report on key commerce KPIs including order volume and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed on trends in digital commerce and SAP Commerce Cloud.


Qualifications

Skills

  • Experience working with digital commerce platforms, ideally SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris).
  • Understanding of eCommerce and eProcurement workflows.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and backlog management.
  • Analytical skills with experience using tools like Adobe Analytics.
  • Experience with CMS platforms, specifically Adobe Experience Manager is a plus.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams.
  • Exposure to AI/ML concepts in commerce is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Product Design, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in digital product management or eCommerce platform support.
  • Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA preferred.
