| Job SummaryAs an IT Support Technician with TechCentral at Henry Schein One, you will provide intermediate level technical support, including basic and more complex troubleshooting for IT products and services to our dental office customers, field technicians, and field reps.
 
 What You Will Do
 
 Provide technical support via phone, email, voicemail, chat, web forms and in-person requestsTroubleshoot a wide range of IT-related products, including Windows OS, servers, desktops, firewalls, routers, access points, backup systems, printers, and healthcare technologiesResolve escalated issues from level one technicians as neededDocument service request information accurately into our ticketing system according to established guidelinesParticipate in team meetings, trainings, and special projects as needed Day in the Life
 
 Work at home, remotely in the United StatesMonday-Friday shifts starting at 6:30, 7, 8, 9, or 10 AM Central TimeHandle approximately 20 phone calls and close 10 tickets per dayProvide IT support to dental practice customers (typically small businesses)Office environment with no special physical demands required Technical Troubleshooting
 
 Hardware: desktops, laptops, tablets, and serversPeripherals: printers, scanners, displaysNetworking: switches, routers, firewalls, access pointsOperating Systems: Windows desktop and serverDomain/user/software account managementVirus/malware removal and update/patch deploymentBackup systems and storage Qualifications
 
 What You Will Have
 
 2 or more years of relevant IT support experience or a combination of education and experienceIntermediate-level knowledge of various IT systems and tools, with advanced skills in one or more specialized areasExcellent customer service, time management, multitasking, and conflict resolution skillsStrong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilityClear and professional written and verbal communication skillsAbility to collaborate effectively and lead small projects when neededCapability to suggest and support continuous improvement initiativesMust be available 8 AM to 5 PM CST for the first 2 weeks for training Nice to Haves
 
 Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in an IT related fieldIT certifications (i.e. CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.) The posted range for this position is$21.50 to $24 per hour for a Tech I and $24 to $27 per hour for a Tech II,which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.
