Overview

This is a full-time, hybrid career opportunity based out of our Corporate Headquarters location in Lancaster, PA.

Audit Manager leads a team in independent, objective, assurance and advisory activity designed to add value to governance and improve operations by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, internal controls, and governance processes, particularly within the areas of operations and compliance. This role provides day to day oversight, mentoring and coaching of audit team members, builds strong relationships and serves as a trusted advisor to management.



Responsibilities

    Lead and oversee audit engagements from planning through report issuance, ensuring work is executed effectively and in compliance with Institute of Internal Auditors International Professional Practices Framework and department policies and on time completion. Prioritize and delegate tasks to ensure that the team's resources are used effectively and productively. Develop and manage effective budgets. Foster a positive team culture by recognizing and rewarding behaviors that promote collaboration, accountability, and high performance. Articulate a strategic vision, drive critical decision making, influence, and inspire others to get results.
  • Effectively communicate the audit process, objectives, and scope of work to all stakeholders. Maintain effective and ongoing communication and coordination with appropriate parties. Evaluate complex, multi-dimensional situations and risks. Assess the relevancy of audit findings, identify root causes of systemic control weaknesses as opposed to mere symptoms, develop appropriate recommendations, identify potential risk exposures and their materiality, spot trends, and assign fair and appropriate risk ratings at the completion of audits.
  • Remain current on emerging industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in assigned audit areas. Provide thoughtful input on corporate policies, standards, and procedures to strengthen controls and governance.
  • Participate actively in department-wide initiatives, department meetings and continuous improvement efforts. Contributes to company-wide task forces and project meetings to ensure audit objectives are properly identified, evaluated, and addressed.
  • Responsible for ensuring confidentiality of corporate records and maintaining awareness of Fulton's risk areas and compliance requirements while conducting audit duties.
  • Limited travel. A valid driver's license is required.


Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: Accounting, Audit, Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent. (Required)

Experience

6 or more years auditing, accounting, or a related field. (Required)

1 or more years team leadership. (Preferred)

Certifications

Certified Internal Auditor; Certified Public Accountant. (Required)

Other Duties as Assigned by Manager

This role may perform other job duties as assigned by the manager. Each employee of the Organization, regardless of position, is accountable for reading, understanding and acting on the contents of all Company-assigned and/or job related Compliance Programs, regulations and policies and procedures, as well as ensure that all Compliance Training assignments are completed by established due dates. This includes but is not limited to, understanding and identifying compliance risks impacting their department(s), ensuring compliance with applicable laws or regulations, and escalating compliance risks to the appropriate level of management.



Pay Transparency

To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base salary ranges on all job postings regardless of state. We set standard salary ranges for our roles based on the position, function, and responsibilities, as benchmarked against similarly sized companies in our industry. Specific compensation offered will be determined based on a combination of factors including the candidate's knowledge, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials. The salary range may vary based on geographic location.

The salary range for this position is $99,200.00 - $165,300.00 annually.

Additional Compensation Components

This job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units. This job is eligible to participate in a short-term incentive compensation plan subject to individual and company performance.
