ABOUT THE ROLE

The IT Administrative Coordinator works in a busy corporate IT office environment and will practice agility to efficiently multitask between various assignments throughout the day. The Coordinator plays a key support role for our IT department and IT leadership.

Essential Functions

  • Ensure all assigned tasks are completed accurately and delivered with high quality in a timely manner
  • Support IT Leadership with projects, research, reporting, and general administrative duties as needed
  • Perform miscellaneous data entry and word processing
  • Process invoices and track budget items for department
  • Work with Accounts Payable to maintain vendor files, submit bills for payment and ensure timely processing
  • Track spending in correspondence to budget and process cost chargebacks to other departments on an ongoing basis
  • Track licensing/purchasing/charge backs/current stock
  • Manage the Company's cell phone service provider relationship, to include vendor management, issue reporting, and monthly leadership usage and cost reporting
  • Act as the trainer and escalation point for field administrators to garner access for field employees
  • Act as purchasing administrator for corporate employees
  • Pull equipment for employees from backstock to support IT Helpdesk
  • Receive, sort and route mail for corporate office, including FedEx mailing system administration
  • Participate as a member of the corporate office facilities group, coordinating recycling and planning social and charitable events.
  • Provide scheduling support for IT group events, including food and facility setup
  • Coordinate weekly catered lunch for the IT team
  • May assist with candidate interview scheduling and travel
  • Operate office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, scanners, phone systems, and computers
  • Regular and predictable attendance
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Essential functions of this position are to be performed in a Company-designated office or field location
  • Understand and comply with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Policy and other industry-specific professional and ethical standards, if applicable

ABOUT YOU

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of office administrative experience is required
  • Interest or familiarity with the information technology field is beneficial
  • High school diploma or GED is required

  • One year of experience in a customer service role (preferred experience in help desk role)

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Proficient computer skills (including MS Office/Word/Outlook) and advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively, including professional written communications
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while supporting management
  • Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to work within a team environment with a collaborative approach and independently with minimal supervision on assignments
  • Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail
  • Ability to practice agility; ability to perform a wide variety of tasks and change focus as demands change

WHAT WE OFFER

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary $50,000-$55,000 / year
    • Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
