RS Service Center Interior Lead - Special Missionsin GAC Savannah Unique Skills: This position is in SPECIAL MISSIONS and will be weekend days. Ideal candidate should be familiar with Gulfstream processes and procedures, as well as Gulfstream drawings. Must have strong communication skills. Must be familiar with Corridor, My CMP and other programs used in Service Center Operations. Candidate should be familiar with removal and installation processes of aircraft interior items. Candidate should be experienced in the fabrication of various components and monuments used in typical aircraft interiors. Experienced in Blueprints. Beneficial to have experience with Special Mission Aircraft. Education and Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required. 5 years Aircraft Interior experience required or equivalent for the applicable position; i.e. Sheetmetal, Cabinetry, Finish, or Upholstery. FAA A&P license or be able to obtain a repairman certificate within 30 days of start date. A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license preferred. Repairman certificate preferred.
Position Purpose:
Under general direction, assist with directing and coordinating all activities and personnel involved with interior modification of aircraft to ensure timely and cost effective fulfillment of delivery schedules and optimum quality and standards. Job Description
