Essential Job Duties
The Department of Performing Arts and Technology at North Carolina State University seeks applications for Lecturers to teach in the areas of music technology, acoustics and psychoacoustics, sound isolation, recording, mixing, and audio digital signal processing. University classes typically meet 2-3 times weekly for 3 hours. Responsibilities include preparing and teaching courses while grading and mentoring students.

Qualifications






Minimum Education and Experience
  • Requires a master's degree, an equivalent degree, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD or DMA in computer music, music technology, computer science, electrical engineering or other related fields
  • Experience working with music technology students at the collegiate level
  • Experience with sound design
  • Experience with video game audio
