Office of Academic Advocacy: Office of Academic Advocacy creates opportunities for undergraduate students to thrive by providing a system of support to foster academic success, retention, and timely degree attainment. Working collaboratively with the colleges and campus partners, a holistic student-centered approach is utilized to empower students to strive for academic achievement and individual growth. The Opportunity: UCF's Office of Academic Advocacy in the Division of Student Success and Well-Being is currently accepting applications for an Academic Advocate. This role is responsible for monitoring specific cohorts of FTIC and transfer students for academic distress signals and taking prompt action. They will reach out proactively to students to deliver appropriate support and help students identify and remove barriers impacting timely degree completion. This position/classification may be moved at management's discretion within the SSWB division to a commensurate level position. Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6). Preferred Qualifications:
