Senior Technical Project Manager

Full-time professional position at Digital Management's business office located in McLean, Virginia, with relocation to unanticipated project sites throughout the US expected. Travel is not required.

Duties:

    Responsible for developing detailed project plans, including timelines, estimations, resource allocation, and risk assessments. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable tasks. Ensure tasks are delivered on time and within scope. Collaborate with and support the team to meet compliance with technical standards and specifications, including conducting code or architecture reviews.
  • Design, develop, and test solutions that adhere to standards set within the Business Intelligence team. Research new technologies, tools and methodologies as they emerge that may be applicable to the Business Intelligence team.
  • Provide the information required to make effective business decisions; translate requirements into applications that employ appropriate decision support and reporting tools.
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java/.NET/Node.js/Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Low code/No code application according to requirements within the required effort estimate and schedule.
  • Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
  • Design, develop and support high performance, high volume data ware house, data mart, Data analytics and Business Intelligence solutions and accessing big data platform databases.
  • Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces. Building back-end application code that interfaces with other systems, services and APIs/SOAP/RESTful APIs
  • Employ C#/.NET Framework, Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, Web services, JPA, Angular, Node.js, HTML, Agile, scripting languages such as Python, Typescript, JavaScript, jQuery, API, SQL Databases and other programming languages and technical tools.
  • Design, evaluate, identify and implement the scalable software architecture and solutions for maximum performance, flexibility, adaptability and scalability to meet the business requirements and the roadmaps using Java, .NET, Node.js and AI platforms.
  • Leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, including Python, to identify automation opportunities, develop AI-driven applications, and implement decision-support systems, optimizing workflows and enhancing business process efficiency. Work with REST APIs, microservices, and serverless architectures for AI integration.
  • Design and develop application code optimized for Amazon Web Services (AWS), to ensure seamless integration with cloud-based programs and services. Create serverless applications using a range of AWS services including API Gateway, RDS, Lambda, and machine learning tools such as Amazon Lex, Connect, Textract, and SageMaker. Responsible for designing and deploying dynamically scalable, highly available, and reliable applications on the AWS cloud platform.
  • Communicate with clients' technical personnel, stakeholders and internal development teams. Support the technical team and develop a strategy that the team members can use to better reach a project's goal.


Qualifications

Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electronic Engineering and 5 years of experience in the job offered or a related information technology project manager or software developer position. Foreign equivalent degrees are acceptable.

Special Requirements: 5 years of verifiable experience performing information technology project management or software development duties employing these technological tools: SonarQube, Fortify scan, HCL APP Scan, WIZ, IAM, EC2, EBS, Apex, NumPy, Rekognition.
