The Vice President of Marketing and Communication is a senior executive responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the overall marketing and communication strategy for the Chromalloy business. As the head of the marketing department, the MARCOM VP plays a pivotal role in driving the company's growth by increasing brand awareness, driving business identity in relevant regional and business markets, connecting the business portfolio of products and services to global demand, and ensuring customer and employee awareness of company solutions and value creation. This role requires a dynamic leader with deep expertise in both traditional and digital marketing, a strong understanding of market trends, understanding of advanced brand extension strategies and the ability to translate business objectives into internal and external marketing and communication strategies.



Key Responsibilities



  1. Strategic Marketing Leadership


    • Collaborate with the executive team to set long-term goals and create a roadmap for achieving them through effective marketing initiatives.
    • Lead the creation and implementation of annual marketing plans, including budget allocation, staffing, and resource management.
    • Manage relevant regional and market event planning to leverage company solutions and connect to customers, suppliers and partners via industry trade events, company customer partnership events and other in person sessions highlighting company capabilities


  2. Brand Management


    • Develop and execute multi-channel corporate marketing strategies aligned with Chromalloy strategic priorities. Ensure that marketing activities align to the Chromalloy corporate brand positioning, messaging and guidelines.
    • Protect and enhance the brand's reputation by managing public relations, crisis communication, and brand perception, while driving respect of style guide and brand
    • Partnering with Human Resources team to extend company brand identity into each regional market and end market served to supplement hiring and retention strategies. Promote and engage in community and government relations in each regional market to support company strategies.


  3. Digital Marketing


    • Drive digital transformation within the marketing department by leveraging data analytics, automation, and other digital tools to optimize marketing efforts.
    • Oversee the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, content marketing, social media, and online advertising.
    • Manage, update and upgrade company digital footprint via website, social media, phone apps, salesforce, email management and other means to ensure connectivity of messaging to internal and external stakeholders.
    • Craft engaging content across various channels, including digital, social media, OOH, television, and events, to captivate target audiences and drive desired behaviors.
    • Develop, test, and scale compelling ad campaigns and creative themes that resonate with target audiences and create a measurable change in belief and bias to action. Utilize new technologies, such as AI, for both scale and microtargeting.


  4. Customer Insights and Market Research


    • Lead market research efforts to identify new market opportunities, customer needs, and competitive dynamics.
    • Utilize customer insights to guide product development, marketing campaigns, and customer experience initiatives.
    • Drive voice of the customer efforts to solicit feedback in concert with the customer service team to ensure regular management of market perceptions and action planning
    • Development of value added selling tools, including digital means of sharing CHROMALLOY value proposition to existing and new customers via tablet based, interactive modeling tools.


  5. Leadership and Team Management


    • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
    • Set clear goals and performance expectations for the marketing and communication team, conducting regular reviews and providing feedback.
    • Establish critical partnerships with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), Commercial Team, inclusive of the Business Development and Customer Service Teams, Human Resources and Information Technologies.


  6. Budget Management


    • Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to achieve the highest possible return on investment.
    • Monitor marketing expenditures and manage vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective delivery of services.
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and success of corporate marketing campaigns. Monitor campaign performance, conduct data analysis, and provide regular reports to key stakeholders. Continuously optimize strategies based on data insights to maximize campaign ROI.


  7. Continuous Improvement


    • Stay abreast of the latest marketing trends, technologies, and best practices, ensuring that the company remains at the forefront of the industry.
    • Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies and campaigns, making data-driven decisions to improve outcomes.
    • Establish annual planning tools to ensure that internal and external events are aligned to the needs of the business, with a focus on cost relative to impact.


  8. Internal Communications


    • Build and scale internal communications that reach the hearts and minds of CGT employees globally through a variety of channels (e.g. all hands meetings, written communication, content creation, company intranet, virtual experiences, social media)
    • Develop and implement an Employee Voice and Engagement strategy delivering effective employee feedback that enables employees to feel fully informed and fully engaged.
    • Build Employer Value Proposition - shape corporate messages so that they can be received by Employees as clearly as possible. Contribute to the effectiveness of our ability to attract, recruit and retain best in class talent.
    • Develop leadership tools and capability to communicate strategy & vision through content development and consistent storytelling that brings priorities & progress to life. This includes leading the creation of digital, video, audio and print content that is aligned with the Chromalloy brand and strategic narrative.



Qualifications



  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, project management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership position. Experience in aerospace and aero-engine / turbine engine space is highly desirable.
  • Skills:


    • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive business growth.
    • In-depth knowledge of both traditional and digital marketing channels, including content marketing, social media, SEO/SEM, and email marketing.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
    • Experience managing large budgets and maximizing ROI.
    • Experience with internal and external communication, including traditional public relations management, established relationships with media and industry publications, as well as demonstrated internal communications strategies.
