The FamiLee and James Labs within the Department of Psychology at the University of Minnesota are seeking applications for a postdoctoral associate under the direction of Professors Richard Lee and Drexler James. The position is ideal for a diversity scientist interested in research on racially minoritized youth and families that utilizes a strength-based approach to development and well-being. The FamiLee lab has a focus on measurement, mixed-method, and longitudinal studies on racial discrimination, ethnic-racial socialization, identity development, acculturation processes, and intergenerational conflict and trauma. The James lab has a focus on internalized stigma, broadly, internalized racism specifically, as well as an interest in meta-analyses and research on health disparities. The successful applicant will join active research labs, work collaboratively with colleagues at other institutions, and have an opportunity to mentor and supervise undergraduate and graduate students. Salary range: $62-68k, depending on experience. Qualifications
