About the Opportunity:

We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic Candidate. You will have the opportunity to work with an experienced and highly motivated team. The role will be processed based and will have a focus on supporting and performing all aspects necessary for the maintenance of the equipment used in the manufacturing of components and the repair and construction within the facility.

Location: Stuart, Florida Onsite role. AWW 2nd Shift - Friday, Saturday and Sunday 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM 15% shift differential.

Responsibilities:

  • Installs, services and maintains the operating condition of all the facilities equipment
  • Determines the reasons for equipment failure
  • Makes routine, periodic or special inspections to determine the necessity of the repair and maintenance of the plant machinery and equipment
  • Uses manufacturer drawings and specifications, installation, layouts, and sketches to facilitate internal repairs of less than major repairs
  • Acts as subject matter expert and shares knowledge willingly with other employees
  • Assists with training other employees and fosters a team environment
  • Follows all applicable safety rules and precautions and maintains a neat and orderly work area
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 4+ years of experience in Maintenance Mechanic, or related field.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
  • Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in English language, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in precision manufacturing equipment.
  • Experience in Fanuc, Haas and Yasnac controls.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose and repair.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to operate maintenance shop equipment.
  • Adaptable to changing business needs and skilled in problem-solving.

Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to pass an eye exam on an annual basis.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel.
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and have the ability hear.
  • The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and stoop or crouch.
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to thirty (30) pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
