What you will be doing:

* Provide quality beverages consistently for all customers, preparing Starbucks beverages to standard.

* Maintain condition and cleanliness of work area.

* Follow standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating, and storing all products.

* Ascertain guest satisfaction; in the event of dissatisfaction, tactfully negotiate an accommodation.

* Comply with accounting guidelines regarding receipt of payments, cash drawer and house bank management.

* Balance house bank at the end of the shift.

* Perform any general cleaning tasks using standard outlet cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards.

What we are looking for:

* Must be able to work a varied schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and the ability to work under pressure.

* Previous hospitality, barista, cashiering or customer service experience is preferred.

* Must be able to learn all menu items and up-selling techniques.

* Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, count total bank, prepare cash drops, and total all other charges.

* Ability to effectively resolve conflict situations, such as inaccurate check total.

* Ability to read and speak English sufficient to understand menus and special promotions, and communicate with guests.

* Ability to operate keyboard and Point of Sale procedures to handle cashier functions.
