Overview
The Supply Chain Management Analyst provides supply chain management support for the United States Air Force (USAF), United States Marine Corps (USMC) and United States Navy (USN) in support of the NAVSUP IWST and V-22 Joint Program Office (PMA-275). Report directly to the NAVSUP IWST and CV-22 Assistant Program Manager for Logistics within the V-22 Joint Program Office. Primary duties will be to assist the IWST in overseeing and managing the operational and strategic aspects of the V-22 Program's supply chain to ensure efficient and effective sustainability of the V-22 fleet. Provide in-depth supply chain management to the V-22 Joint Program Office in support of the V-22 IWST. In-depth knowledge of USAF Supply Chain Management along with an understanding of USMC and USN Supply Chain Management is required. Operational knowledge of the NAVSUP mission, organization and sustainment capabilities is required.
What will you do?
- Supply Chain Management Analyst supports the NAVSUP V-22 IWST, V-22 Joint Program Office, V-22 Product Support Manager, V-22 In-Service Sustainment Leads, CV-22/MV-22/CMV-22 Assistant Program Managers for Logistics (APMLs), and associated V-22 Squadrons for Supply Chain planning, programming and implementation.
- Perform functions of technical expert for supply acquisition procedures, strategic planning, team building and fleet response.
- Represent PMA-275 CV-22 Team by providing in-depth technical advice and knowledge in planning and implementing USAF supply chain management policies.
- Support V-22 Joint Program Office by coordinating with V-22 Leadership, Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP), The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), V-22 Type Series Commander (TYCOM), and Fleet Squadron organizations to expedite and implement Supply Chain Management Programs.
- Facilitating regular supply chain review meetings to discuss progress, address challenges, and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Implementing supply chain management best practices and methodologies to drive supply efficiency and effectiveness.
- Reviewing the coordination of interdepartmental activities to ensure that all supporting elements are aligned with supply chain timelines and objectives.
- Developing and implementing risk management plans to proactively identify potential supply chain issues and develop contingency plans.
- Ensuring that all supply chain activities comply with government regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Utilizing supply chain management software tools to track program progress and provide visibility to stakeholders.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and communication.
- Fostering positive relationships with customers, contractors, and partnering organizations to enhance program success.
- Providing NAVSUP leadership support and guidance to the program team.
- Supporting the implementation of corrective actions as needed.
- Assisting in preparing and presenting reports on supply chain status, progress, and performance.
- Ensuring accurate and timely documentation of supply activities, decisions, and outcomes.
- Maintaining program records and files in accordance with organizational requirements.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of long-term strategic plans for the V-22 Supply Chain Management Program.
- Assist in setting program objectives and goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for fleet optimization and supply chain management.
- Evaluate program performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Support the development of initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the V-22 fleet supply chain
- Assist in reviewing, managing and analyzing supply contracts and NAVAIR requirements related to the V-22 mission.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with contractors to ensure timely and quality delivery of products.
- Monitor contract performance and resolve issues or disputes as necessary.
- Assist in preparing and managing reports and records related to supply chain management.
- This position will require travel approximately 10% of the time.
Do you have what it takes?
- Education: BS or BA degree.
- Allowable Substitution: An additional five (5) years of USAF Supply Chain experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.
- Experience - At least ten (10) years of experience in USAF operational supply chain management / in-service support. Experience must demonstrate the ability to perform independent work to provide supply chain management support in support of DoD weapons systems and equipment.
- Work hours will be in direct support of the client; therefore, hours may be fluid at times in order to meet customer/operational requirements. Work schedule flexibility is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Highly proficient with the Microsoft Professional Office Suite including Microsoft Teams, Word, Access, Excel, Power Point, and Project; well-developed written and oral communication skills; ability to assess established business processes, identify/document business process problems and recommend business process improvement initiatives; strong team building skills and ability to support a highly integrated network of team members required to successfully execute the V-22 Supply Chain Management mission.
