Manufacturing Engineer I - Automation
Overview As a Manufacturing Engineer I - Automation, you'll play a critical role in supporting the manufacturing of high-precision optical components. As an Automation Engineer you will be expected to design, develop, and implement automation systems that improve efficiency, quality, and reliability in our production processes. The Automation Engineer will have experience with automation tools, scripting, system integration, and troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, or software domains. They will have a passion and interest to learn and contribute in transforming current processes with automated solutions to enhance our competitiveness in the high-end optical components market. The ability to work and collaborate with partners both internal and external will be critical. Responsibilities
Assist the design, development, configuration and implementation of mechanical/electronic systems, which will optimize efficiencies, stabilize yield and enhance EO's capabilities, from concept to pilot

Education/Experience: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical and Electronics Engineering or other relevant Engineering or Physics field Physical Requirements: Ability to sit or stand for long periods; ability to travel; adequate manual dexterity to perform essential functions; ability to use some physical efforts in the handling of heavy materials and machinery; ability to lift 25 lbs.; ability to work in manufacturing environment. Other Requirements: U.S. Citizenship or permanent residence required.
