Work Schedule:

Per Diem Nurse - Must commit to work a minimum of 72 hours per six week scheduling period. Monday through Friday between 8:00am -5:00pm. May also travel to Portage Specialty Clinic to cover infusion if needed. You will primarily work at 250 Doctors Court in Johnson Creek, WI with occasional coverage as needed at the regional services oncology clinics located in Portage, WI.

We are seeking a chemo certified and experienced oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to:

  • Join a team of REMARKABLE nurses and providers that use compassion and teamwork to care for their inspiring patients in the Oncology Clinic.
  • Connect and form therapeutic relationships with patients in a supportive environment.
  • Care for patients receiving medical and radiation oncology services, chemotherapy treatments and clinical trials in an ambulatory setting.
  • Use targeted assessment skills to assess patients during visits and via telephone triage and MyChart.

Education

  • Graduate of school of nursing Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred

Work Experience

  • 6 months of RN experience Required
  • Relevant Inpatient RN experience Preferred
  • Ambulatory experience Preferred
  • Relevant oncology experience Preferred
  • Chemotherapy experience Preferred
  • Experience with Venous Access Devices (VADs) and IV skills Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

  • Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact Upon Hire Required
  • Current CPR/BLS certification Upon Hire Required
  • Certification in specialty area of practice Preferred
