ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES This position description should not be interpreted as all inclusive. It is intended to identify the major responsibilities and requirements of the job. The incumbents may be requested to perform job-related responsibilities and tasks other than those stated on this description.
- Processing of all incomingapplications for admission - data downloads, data entry,validatingthe accuracy and integrity of the data entered,maintainworkflow of materials, and updaterecordsas necessary. Createand managechecklists of required items for admissionapplicants for all applicationtypes(Certificate, Technical Diploma,Associates Degree, etc.).
- Review applications to make admissions decisions.Processtranscripts, test scores, and other pertinent materials todetermineadmissibility based on established criteriaby program.
- Correspond with applicants, students, and staff via phone, email, and/or in-person as needed to follow-up on processing needs.Provide a superior level of customer servicewithprospective students as well as internal constituents. Manage and execute all application relatedcommunications.
- Collaborate with other units across campus such as Enrollment Services, Academic Affairs and Student Support divisions.
- Create andmaintaindocumentation of policies, processes, and procedures for specificposition.Assistwith onboardingnewstaffandprovidingadmissions related training to other staff across campus.
- In collaboration withWCTC's Designated School Official (DSO), collect, process, and admit international applicants. Maintain international student records including confidential records such as financial statements.
- Understand andcomply withFERPA regulations related to the disclosure of student record information.
- Provideinformation andfacilitateenrollment processes atspecial eventsand activities.
- In collaboration with the Assistant Director of Admissions testand assess technology solutions used in the admissions office.Work to align effective technology solutions withappropriate business strategies to meet enrollment goals.

Minimum Qualifications

- Ability to manage a dynamic daily schedule and deliver short term results while maintaininga long-term perspective and moving the college forward towards its strategic enrollment goals.
- Knowledge of student information systems, data integration and college enrollment processes are preferred.
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate's Degree
- One year of Experience in higher education, preferably with knowledge of enrollment services.

The Admissions Specialist (Limited Termed Employment-LTE) position supports the Admissions department and is available to start in January 2026.
This is an Limited Term Employment position that will end 6/30/2026 unless additional funding is provided into the next Fiscal Year to continue the position.
Position is benefits eligible.
