Essential Functions: Responsible for safely loading and unloading bulk liquids to and from delivery vehicles. Maintains quality and integrity of bulk liquids in storage. Works under the direction of the Resin Leads and the Resin Manager. Ensures all bulk liquids meet loading and unloading quality requirements prior to loading or unloading. Testing is performed in accordance with guidelines and standard test methods. Calibrates, adjusts and monitors lab testing equipment in accordance with prescribed guidelines. Records data as prescribed. Unloads bulk liquids from delivery vehicles to designated storage tanks using pumps, filters, and valves. Inspects delivery vehicles for cleanliness prior to loading. Loads bulk liquids from storage to delivery vehicles using pumps, filters, and valves. Completes shipping paperwork as required. Ensures delivery vehicles and paperwork meet DOT and other applicable regulatory requirements. Monitors transfers to ensure proper quantities are transferred and to ensure that tanks or delivery vehicles are not overfilled. Monitors transfers to ensure no leaks or spills occur. Promptly reports leaks and spills and cleans up as required. May assist with other material handling activities including: restocking non-bulk raw materials, transporting empty containers to the proper disposal area, and transporting and disposing of waste materials in the proper area. Follows all safety, environmental and regulatory policies, procedures, and guidelines. All required safety equipment is available and used as prescribed. Promptly addresses issues related to safety and actively coaches and reinforces safety expectations with team. Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment. Maintains raw material inventory by transferring materials from the warehouse or bulk storage tanks to the Resin process area. Must be able to comply with 5S and facility housekeeping requirements (painting, chipping floors, relocation of equipment and raw materials, cleanup of hardened resin and other materials, etc.) Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste per regulations as required. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School degree or GED required. Prior working experience and knowledge associated with chemical manufacturing. Experience offloading and loading large vehicles with chemicals a plus Must be able to walk up and down stairs several times throughout an 8-12 hour shift as needed. Must be able to climb ladders as needed. Forklift and trailer jockey experience strongly preferred. Math skills---such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division-required. Competency and confidence utilizing applicable computerized systems such as MS Office Excel, Outlook, Word, SAP Physical effort and dexterity: Frequency of physical activity throughout shift: -Frequent sitting, standing, bending/twisting of neck and waist, squatting and kneeling -Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects from floor, conveyor, vehicle, table, or overhead location -Occasional lifting of 10-75 lbs.
