INVESTMENT BANKING

Our division works on some of the most complex financial challenges and transactions in the market today. Whether advising on a merger, providing financial solutions for an acquisition, or structuring an initial public offering, we handle projects that help clients at major milestones. We work with corporations, pension funds, financial sponsors, and governments and are team of strong analytical thinkers, who have a passion for producing out-of-the-box ideas.

OUR IMPACT

PSI sits within the Capital Solutions Group in Global Banking & Markets Investment Banking. PSI provides debt underwriting and advisory services for state and local governmental entities, public power and utility systems, transportation and mass transit agencies, higher education organizations, not-for-profit hospital and healthcare organizations, sports franchises and other public projects. The group focuses on origination, structuring and execution of a variety of debt, derivative, advisory, and public-private partnership transactions across the U.S. The multi-functional group combines client coverage with product expertise, capital markets expertise, credit analysis and deal execution. Our offices are headquartered in New York City, with regional offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, and Dallas.

This specific role is to assist in structuring, executing, and leading municipal commodity prepayment transactions. Municipal commodity prepays are one of the fastest growing sectors in the municipal market. These financings combine extensive modeling with a need to be enmeshed in credit and interest rate markets creating a unique opportunity to collaborate across many different financial verticals to benefit municipalities.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
Vice president and associates in PSI gain exposure to the firm's businesses and expanded knowledge of the investment banking industry. In this role, individuals will be deeply involved in the modeling, document review, solution generating, and client coverage of an important municipal client base. Furthermore, given the cross divisional aspect of these deals, individuals will have the opportunity to work with colleagues in commodities, credit sales and trading, and investment grade underwriting.
