Location: Remote in the following states only: Utah, Arizona, Nevada Hiring Range: This position's hiring range is anticipated to be $59,000 - $64,000 annually, depending on experience, plus great benefits! As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will be the welcoming face and voice of our organization, often serving as the first point of contact for candidates and prospects. You'll work both independently and as part of a dedicated People and Culture team to design and implement hiring strategies that reflect our unique culture and values. From sourcing mission-driven talent to refining processes that support our strategic goals, you'll help build a workforce that's equipped to Save Them All. This role blends strategic talent acquisition with essential administrative responsibilities, all in service of a kinder, more compassionate world for animals and the people who care for them. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Consult with and build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and colleagues to foster trust, build credibility, and ensure a positive candidate, hiring manager, and colleague experience reflective of theBest Friends culture and brand. Manage daily staffing requisition workload and carry out all functions of the recruiting and hiring lifecycle from position requisition through a new employee's start date. Facilitate recruitment strategy calls for new requisitions with the hiring manager and other stakeholders. Determine search strategy, create job ads and post positions internally and externally that attract diverse talent. Build candidate pipelines, search for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using databases, social media, networking, internet recruiting resources, non-profit and animal welfare publications, cold calls, and employee referrals. Review applications, pre-screen applicants, arrange hiring manager/team interviews, create offer letters, initiate pre-employment checks, and hire candidates. Assist with applicant tracking system (ATS) testing as new functionality is released. Perform data entry into ATS to facilitate the hiring and onboarding process. Run candidate and new hire reports as needed. Mentor managers and employees on staffing and people policies, and procedures as needed. Travel up to 10% of the time for in-person client visits, participation in job and career fairs, and attendance at other Best Friends-sponsored events. Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience:
Possession of a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university with a major in business administration, human resources, or a eld closely related to the position. In lieu of a degree, four (4) years of professional experience will substitute for the bachelor's degree. Full life cycle recruiting experience with a national, multi-state organization preferred but not required. Non-profit experience helpful. Direct sourcing expertise utilizing various sourcing methods and platforms preferred. Strong preference for experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and ATS reporting. Experience with Workday a plus. Must have flexibility to work across different time zones within the United States as needed. Prociency with Oce 365 including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate and work in a team environment. Ability to create recruitment marketing materials using approved applications. Ability to prioritize, multitask, and navigate complex situations, and apply sound judgment. Ability to maintain condentiality and handle sensitive information. Familiarity with employment and labor law helpful. PHR or SHRM_CP certication a plus but not required. Must have a valid driver's license for at least 3 years with ability to qualify to be added to Best Friends insurance.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to see and sort a variety of printed and online information. Ability to work at a computer and/or on the phone for extended periods of time with repetitive typing, and arm and hand motion. Ability to travel using various modes of transportation, including air, automobile, and public transit. Ability to work overtime, including evenings and weekends occasionally as needed to support hiring managers and meet required deadlines across different time zones.
