THE ROLE:

AMD HR is looking for an experienced project manager to drive HR related acquisition integration and change efforts, with an emphasis on compensation and benefits activities. This role will create, manage, and drive execution of the HR integration plans to achieve a flawless Day 1 for employees and continue through to end-state where new AMD employees are productive on AMD tools, processes, and policies. You will interact with senior leaders, managers, teams, and colleagues across HR and AMD to present and update on integration plans.

THE PERSON:

We are looking for an experienced HR professional who has both M&A and Total Rewards experience who can build and drive project plans. This person will be a strong collaborator, creative thinker who is a problem solver; and self-starter who can connect the dots at a strategy, program, and project level. The successful candidate is a collaborator who can build networks quickly and adapt easily as priorities change.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead strategic projects related to M&A or AMD HR Priorities.
  • Conduct due diligence on target company's Total Rewards programs, including compensation, benefits, and equity plans.
  • Partner with Total Rewards stakeholders to manage, plan, and execute the overall Total Rewards integration strategy and activities (job leveling, total rewards gaps, analyses, and recommendations).
  • Build and manage HR project plans to support M&A activities in partnership with HR Centers of Excellence and HR Business Partner roles.
  • Execute and improve our HR M&A Playbook, incorporating best practices from due diligence through successful integration of acquired employees.
  • Manage employee data in support of M&A to facilitate the creation of offer documents.
  • Report on progress of M&A activities to the Integration Management Office and HR Leadership.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Direct experience of the Human Resources M&A lifecycle and related activities.
  • Progressive years of experience in related Total Rewards responsibilities with understanding of tech industry market and trends.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and make a productive impact in short timelines while effectively managing competing priorities.
  • Proven experience leading global projects with cross-functional, global teams.
  • Strong change management skills, with experience rolling out large scale programs globally.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, high attention to detail with a high degree of personal integrity and confidentiality.
  • Strong project management skills, self-starter, detail-orientated problem solver who can prioritize well and bring structure to complex and ambiguous situations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global company within a multi-cultural, cross-functional, and matrixed team.
  • Expertise with analytics, Excel, PowerPoint, and Smartsheet

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, Master's degree is a plus.
