• Portneuf Medical Center is a nationally recognized healthcare leader with 205 beds, serving as the region's tertiary care and Level II Trauma Center, housing the Portneuf Heart and Vascular Institute, Portneuf Cancer Center, Portneuf Medical Group, and Portneuf Air Rescue.

The Nurse Intern, under the direction supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), performs basic patient care activities and related services in compliance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures, legal and regulatory standards. Units include Med Surg, Rehab, Endoscopy, Progressive Care, ED, Orthopedics and Day Surgery.

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current Student Nurse Intern approval letter from the Idaho State Board of Nursing
• Current enrollment in an accredited RN Idaho Nursing Program
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
