KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Project/Program Management to join our Digital Nexus technology organization. This is a hybrid work opportunity.Responsibilities:Facilitate the delivery of customer-centric outcomes through the sustained use of consistent methods, people-focused engagement, and the systematic reduction in non-value-added work; establish positive, collaborative relationships with customers to meet their goals and objectivesLead internal customers and teams in the development, as well as maintenance of project, program, or program iteration artifacts, such as scope, approach, solution, plan, resources, and estimates for strategic, on-premises or cloud-based IT application development or infrastructure projectsDefine a program or project's schedule and scope focused on the timely and systematic delivery of outcomes for the customer; develop, track and manage project forecasts and costs; request budget allocation and reallocations; ensure the project and/or program is within budget; manage and control changes to scopeAct as the program or project's entrepreneurial advocate, ensuring communication transparency, optimizing the risk profile and enhancing the benefit realization for the customer; manage resource plans, facilitate team meetings, publish meeting notes and action items, ensure follow up with team members, update project documents and systems, ensure timely completion of action items; facilitate post-project/phase reviewsDrive the program and project teams to achieve a high level of performance and quality, holding teams accountable for their work, fully engaged in the program or project, and removing roadblocks; adhere, and contribute to, the unabated optimization of the project and program management standards, processes, and governance, including tools and reportingDevelop and execute organizational change management plans to ensure the seamless adoption of new systems and processes; mentor, train and coach less experienced team members on standards, processes, and toolsAct with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment Qualifications:Minimum eight years of recent experience managing IT enterprise projects that are high-risk strategic, transformational, on-premises or cloud-based, involving IT application development, and infrastructureBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; Scrum or SAFe Agile certification, and PMP or Prince two certification is preferredParticipate in and facilitate post program and project reviews to cultivate a learning organizationProject management experience that includes full lifecycle software development using industry best practices and methodologies, including agile, hybrid and waterfallExperience as a ScrumMaster, leading Agile ceremonies, facilitating scrum teams, measuring team velocity, reporting on team progress, and removing impediments for assigned team(s) as well as coordinating a Sprint backlog in conjunction with Product Owner and team members preferred; background as an agile coach is preferredStrong verbal or written communication, with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority; ability to prioritize, delegate and foster the development of high-performance teams to lead/support an environment driven by customer service, and teamwork is requiredApplicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future; KPMG LLP will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work visa status for this opportunity (no sponsorship is available for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visa) KPMG LLP and its affiliates and subsidiaries ("KPMG") complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges.
