The role of a Quality Engineer is to ensure that the Stamping Parts meet the quality requirements on all facets of the New Model Programs from early tooling Engineering discussions to launch at the Stamping plants. The Engineer will ensure that the new stamping parts quality requirements align with the program quality objectives. Responsibilities include reviewing the GD&T documents and Quality documents and coordinating the Quality activities of the new stamping parts and quality tools in accordance with the datums and PLP strategy, GD&T, simulations, part buyoffs and launch buyoffs. The Engineer will ensure that the GD&T's meet the program quality requirements. Provide support to the SPE functional areas and various cross functional organizations including Stamping and Assembly Plants.
