Now Hiring: Health Information Management (HIM) Specialist - On-Site in Evansville, IN Schedule Options: * 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM CST * 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST * Includes two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch * Pay Range: $16.00 - $17.50/hour * Employment Type: Full-Time \| Long-Term Contract About the Role Join a dynamic healthcare team as a Health Information Management (HIM) Specialist, where you'll play a key role in maintaining accurate and organized medical records. This position is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about supporting healthcare operations. Key Responsibilities * Prepare, scan, index, and retrieve medical documents with precision. * Reconcile accounts and manage document workflows. * Answer phones and assist with general HIM-related inquiries. * Perform quality reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance. * Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards. * Use Microsoft Office Suite and internal systems to manage records. Qualifications * Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree or 1-2 years of experience in medical records. * Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Teams, Outlook, and Word. * Attention to Detail: Ability to organize documents sequentially and maintain accuracy under pressure. * Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
