Primary Purpose of Department
The mission of Facilities Management is to provide a quality learning, research, and living environment for the benefit of students, faculty, staff, and the community by planning, building, operating, and maintaining the campus of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Primary Purpose of Position
The Director of Organization and Strategy fulfills a variety of roles across and between units of Facilities Management including but not limited to: strategy in organization, professional development, communications and marketing, collaboration with key campus partners, external constituents, and special projects.
Summary of Position Responsibilities
Minimum Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree and ten years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Experience in Real Estate, Sales & Marketing and Customer Relations some required from an outside Higher Ed setting.
  • Account development experience and marketing communications with technology system implementation.
