Set-Up Technician

This is a great opportunity to join a cutting-edge production team where you'll play a key role in mold changes, equipment setups, automation changeovers, and preventative maintenance that keep operations running smoothly.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $22.04 - $27.24 per hour (based on experience)
• Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Your Responsibilities

• Perform mold and insert changes, mold setups, and equipment adjustments on the production floor.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on molds, tooling, and automation systems.
• Troubleshoot hot runner systems, controllers, and wiring issues.
• Support mold qualifications and assist with engineering projects.
• Set up and maintain automation and parts handling systems.
• Manage PM programs and maintain accurate documentation of mold conditions and press schedules.
• Respond to machine alarms, troubleshoot equipment issues, and assist with machine start-ups and shut-downs.
• Assist with packing operations when needed (box setup, part handling).
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, ensuring all safety standards are met.
• Organize spare parts inventory and use precision measuring tools to evaluate inserts and mold bases.

What You'll Bring

• 1+ year of manufacturing or technician experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools and solid math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work at heights when required.
• A team-oriented mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
• Openness to complete training in Forklift Operation, Lockout/Tagout, Arc Flash, CPR, and more.
