LOCATION: Kirtland AFB, NM

JOB STATUS: Full-time

CLEARANCE: TS/SCI

CERTIFICATION: PMP or DAWIA

TRAVEL: As Needed

Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager to support the Hybrid Architecture and Development for Experimental Systems (HADES) program in Albuquerque, New Mexico at Kirtland AFB. The purpose of the HADES Contract is for support services providing Ground Operations and Development (GOD) support and services of the Research and Development Space and Missile Operations (RDSMO) program Ground System Enterprise (GSE).

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead overall program execution, ensuring alignment with contract objectives, scope, schedule, and budget.

  • Manage program resources, including personnel, subcontractors, and materials, to achieve performance and delivery milestones.

  • Develop, maintain, and oversee the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and Gantt charts to track progress and dependencies.

  • Monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance with technical, cost, and schedule requirements.

  • Serve as the primary interface with Government stakeholders, providing regular status updates, risk assessments, and performance reports.

  • Drive proactive issue resolution, risk management, and continuous improvement across all program areas.

  • Ensure compliance with all contractual, regulatory, and security requirements, including SSC and DoD standards.

Required Qualifications/Skills

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • PMP certification or DAWIA Program Management Level III (or equivalent).

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience leading DoD programs, including cost, schedule, and performance responsibility.

  • Proven experience supporting Space Systems Command (SSC) or space ground systems programs.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-contractor efforts in a high-visibility environment.
