Boston Government Services, LLC. (BGS) is seeking a Construction Engineer to support our client Los Alamos National Laboratory onsite in Los Alamos, NM.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to more experienced construction engineering personnel by performing routine construction engineering assignments at the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL).
  • Assigned to a discipline position within the Construction Management Division in an administrative or technical capacity.
  • Complete assigned tasks under routine supervision and technical directions.
  • Work with multiple people across the install groups and various leaders.
  • May have leadership responsibility for less experienced construction engineers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering or scientific discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Requires a full working knowledge of construction engineering practices and the exercise of professional judgment within the framework of established guidelines
  • Fluent in Microsoft 365 based products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams. Etc.)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE "Q" clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Successful drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Post graduate course work or degree.
  • Active Q clearance.
  • Experience with Glovebox systems.
  • NQA1 experience.
  • Professional Engineer License.

Location/Work Arrangement:

The work arrangement for this position is a 4/10 6-week rotating shift onsite and located in Los Alamos, NM.
