Position Summary

In a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment, contributes professional and clinical expertise to assigned unit(s) and/or patient populations to ensure the delivery of high-quality care. Responsible for directing, planning, organizing, managing, and evaluating clinical staff, and functions of the departments that this position oversees clinically and administratively.

Experience
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, primarily in area of specialty.

Special Skills/Qualifications




  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program as determined by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation or a current Registered Professional Nurse and Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program/master's in nursing.



  • Current Certification from the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or for Advanced Practice Nurses a current Board Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) in specialty and Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) certification.



  • Hold a valid, current New Jersey license.



  • Obtain a New Jersey CDS and federal DEA certificate upon employment if not already covered.



  • Evidence of excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication skills, and creative problem solving.



  • Participation in pertinent professional and/or specialty organizations preferred.



  • BLS certification




Salary




  • Minimum new grad base salary $140,300 K. Salary commensurate with years of experience as an NP/PA.



  • Ability to earn up to 5% quality incentive
