Title: Human Resources Coordinator
Location: Plaquemine, LA

Salary: $57,000 - $84,000
Schedule: 5/8

Focus: The Human Resources Coordinator collaborates with HR Business Partners across multiple locations to support strategic and operational HR initiatives.

Human Resources Coordinator Essential Job Functions:

  • Coordinate talent acquisition activities and assist with interviews and job file management
  • Support onboarding and orientation for new hires
  • Provide guidance and support on UKG and timekeeping systems
  • Maintain and update HR reports and data
  • Audit HR documentation and ensure proper communication to employees
  • Assist in harmonizing HR policies and practices across sites
  • Draft routine correspondence and templates using Microsoft Office
  • Research and respond to HR-related inquiries independently
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance HR workflows
Human Resources Coordinator Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree* in business discipline preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of administrative support experience; prior Human Resources administrative experience required
    • Prior manufacturing and/or chemical industry experience strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of PeopleSoft and UKG preferred; Workday experience a plus
  • Professional demeanor and ability to interface with all levels of the organization
  • Travel between Plaquemine and St. Gabriel may be required periodically
  • Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred
  • Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's license
