As a Business Development Associate or Sr. Business Development Associate, you will have the opportunity to perfect your sales skills and make a direct contribution to driving engagement with new clients and supporting a healthy pipeline of thoughtfully positioned opportunities aligned with Rho's sales strategy and objectives. . You will need to be adept at client-specific research in order to provide active support in generating business leads. You will be able to have direct interaction with clients and support various initiatives for our fast-paced and strategic Business Development team. Responsibilities

  • Perform outreach (phone, mail, email) to potential leads to generate interest in Rho's services
  • Participate in lead generation activities (e.g., research perspective company pipelines and press releases)
  • Create customized value propositions and storyboards that match Rho's expertise to prospective client needs
  • Schedule telephone, face-to-face, and web meeting appointments for Rho business development professionals and Rho's subject matter experts
  • Ensure a high level of communication and customer service
  • Attend industry specific trade shows, conferences and business development meetings; participate in local and regional industry specific networking groups as needed
  • Enter, update and maintain accurate data within Salesforce.com
  • Support day-to-day sales and marketing activities
  • Work with Rho business development professionals to develop and execute territory plans
  • Assist with proposal activities; ensure timely responses and follow-up to both internal and external clients
  • Implement marketing initiatives, including actively seeking new ways to further Rho's brand

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and up to 4+ years of relevant experience along with experience conducting market research and/or internet research projects preferred
  • Proficient skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, including the ability to format documents and create document templates
  • Independent, self-motivated and success driven
  • Effective communicator with strong written, verbal and presentation skills
