Overview

What You Will Do

As a Warehouse Driver, you will be responsible for overall management responsibility for receiving, warehouse and shipping functions.

A Typical Day at Prime Controls

    Handle delivery routes while following all rules/laws of the road, maintaining professional appearances and driver courtesy.
  • Receive orders and keep loading dock clear.
  • Place project inventory items in proper locations in warehouse (receive, label, store).
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup.
  • Pick/kit orders for production.
  • Assist personnel with material transfers.
  • Documents all related activities and completes forms and reports.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Adherence to safety standards required at all times.
  • Performs other related duties as directed.
  • Other duties as assigned

What You Will Bring

The Basic

  • High School Diploma or GED/equivalent
  • Have a valid Driver's License
  • Must be DOT certified
  • Ability to operate forklift, order picker, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
  • Ability to lift or move heavy products.
  • Operates forklift/picker/pallet jack as needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

The Preferred

  • Associates degree in a technical discipline
