Maintenance Electrician

Staffmark is hiring a Maintenance Electrician in Denton, TX! This is a direct-hire opportunity with a leading industrial organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background, hands-on industrial experience, and the ability to guide and support other maintenance team members.

Pay: $35-$40/hour (Based on experience)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM | Overtime primarily during weekdays; occasional Saturdays as needed

Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical, assembly, and preventive maintenance tasks
• Run conduit and wiring for new and existing installations
• Adjust and maintain rectifiers, compressors, ovens, and chiller units
• Work with 480V/120V and low-voltage systems
• Install and troubleshoot motors, pumps, transformers, and controls
• Read blueprints and diagnose electrical issues using meters and PLC logic
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
• Coordinate with vendors and train junior maintenance technicians
• Maintain tools, records, and preventive maintenance schedules

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of electrical maintenance experience in industrial or commercial settings
• High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training preferred
• Licensed Electrician preferred
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and troubleshooting
• Proficient with basic computer applications
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs (with assistance) and work in tight or elevated spaces
• Comfortable operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and power tools
