As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter unauthorized activity while monitoring and patrolling a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. You will perform regular patrols, maintain a strong security-related presence, and deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication. This driving post involves interacting with visitors and team members, responding to incidents, and assisting with security-related procedures. What You'll Do:

• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with access-related inquiries and information, following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including escalating issues as necessary according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related risks and report irregularities.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by site procedures.
• Collaborate with on-site personnel and emergency responders as needed during emergency response activities, following Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Remain alert and aware of the environment to help to deter potential risks to personnel, property, and/or information within the tech, media, and telecom location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
